@thomasfuchs I use #matrix for this, and the #mautrix #facebook bridge, it works well. I've never had any problems and it just updates itself (#docker) I also bridge into other networks like #irc, #signal, #sms, etc

Discovered the reason my #Matrix #Mautrix bridge bot was joining random rooms thanks to @\tulir:maunium.net on #\telegram:maunium.net!

I had given to the bot non-exclusive control of all users on the server to fix some permission errors:

Removing it fixed the problem, while maintaining the bot's functionality!

Slowly bridging more and more #Telegram chat to #Matrix via a #Mautrix-Telegram double puppeting bridge.

I'm enjoying it more than I expected! :D

Finally managed to correctly setup double puppeting on #Matrix via #Mautrix-#Telegram! 🎉

When you setup #mautrix bridges for #whatsapp or #signal on your #matrix instance, make sure to enable double puppeting via "login-matrix". Improves user experience by 100%

Been contributing to #dendrite recently and I must say, the code base is a pleasure to work with.

Got appservice log-ins working, so end-to-bridge encryption and double puppeting using the #mautrix #telegram bridge work now!

Zurückblickend ist die Matrix-Whatsapp-Bridge (mautrix-whatsapp) Installationsanleitung schon vollständig. Aber man wird nicht eine Millisekunde an die Hand genommen. Schwere Geburt!

Vielleicht sollte man mit sowas aber auch nicht mitten in der Nacht anfangen. :blobcatsleepless:

Lancement de la passerelle entre la messagerie instantanée #matrix chat.sans-nuage.fr et whatsApp en beta.

C'est notre tentative pour aider les groupes #whatsapp à migrer vers matrix.

Objectif : que les premières personnes à migrer ne se retrouvent pas seules à leurs arrivées sur #matrix .

Pour faire ça on utilise une vm #lineageos x86, whatsapp web, le paquet #mautrix de #yunohost, et #arn_messager un bot de notre conception pour la mise en relation.
