Is anyone using #MayaUsd #Maya #Arnold for viewport rendering able to confirm or deny that it renders a MayaUsdProxy correctly - meaning it reflects opinions in the session layer and not just the loaded stage layer?

Artists are reporting terrible slowdown in #Maya 2023 when using #MayaUSD ... seems to be tied to manipulating the Stage.

Except, I can't reproduce the issue on my machine. So I'm left wondering what terrible thing they did to their preferences?
