Recently swapped out an Intel i9 (MBP 16" for a #MacStudio #M1Ultra & MBAir M2. While the MacStudio has fans, I've never heard them even under intense sustained workloads (video rendering). The #MBAir #M2 without fans is a blazing fast & killer portable.
FWIW, my entire dev stack is #Azure, #Microsoft365, #Nodejs, #React, #VSCode & do a lot of video work (#AdobeCC #AdobePremierePro #AdobeAfterEffects).
