Ten years ago tonight, in the glorious art deco splendor of #Hammersmith Apollo, I stood in awe as famously loud shoegaze-types #MyBloodyValentine brought forth their gorgeous noise.

A set of old & new(ish) tunes, repetitive rhythms & #bass that shook through the internal organs of all assembled.

Yet, despite all the bars stocking free ear plugs (and the Merch desk, the box office & the toilets), not quite the auditory #MBV onslaught I'd feared. Loud, but not up to eleven.

Pour une fois, on va faire chronologique, et on a un gros morceau aujourd’hui : my bloody Valentine et Loveless. Très difficile de sortir un morceau, j’ai choisi l’iconique only shallow mais je vous invite à aller tout écouter.
A écouter fort et concentre, le son est dense. Il a fallu 20 studios à Kevin Shields pour réussir à produire cet album.
