It's #FOFriday and I wanted to rather belatedly share this ridiculous Christmas shirt that I made for @davetansley!

The pattern is McCalls #m6044, the pattern is random cotton from eBay with a pattern of Christmassy dogs, and the shirt itself is...passable as an actual shirt! 🥳

A lot of lessons were learned in the process but it was genuinely fun, and I'll definitely be back to make more.

For my big Christmas holiday project this year I've been getting stuck in to #sewing a shirt, which is something that I've been too terrified to do for a long time.

I listened to the advice on here (thank you!) to 100% definitely make a muslin first, and although it's a different fabric it has been super useful to have a test run and confirm the sizing.

On with the real fabric version now, still a bit scary, but we're getting there 😀
