This is what the Republican Party is about these days. This is what they mean when they say #MAGA. Don't be fooled. The Republican Party is the major political party in America where racists feel welcome. There's a reason they feel welcome: they are welcome in the modern Republican Party.

The sheriff of McCurtain County, one of his investigators and a county commissioner are accused by a newspaper of threatening to kill a local reporter and lamenting that modern justice no longer includes hanging Black people, and made cannibalistic jokes about a local woman who was burned alive in her home, allegedly by her landlord. The conversation was recorded.

Weird how every time you shake this tree, dozens of bad apples come tumbling out. Oh well, I'm sure that doesn't mean anything.
