Diese Erscheinung heißt #Wabenverwitterung (engl.: honeycomb weathering), weil sie an Bienenwaben (honeycomb) erinnert, auch wenn das Muster längst nicht so regulär sechseckig wie das echter Bienenwaben ist.
Der Stein gehört zur Mauer eines Gebäudes in #Mdina, der historischen früheren Hauptstadt von #Malta ...
