Found Microsoft has deprecated protocol in favor of . Found Windows 10 machine at home no longer resolves just bare name. Pushed change to . Lennart was already there saying let's not hurry. I say we should. Because resolved had that support broken anyway. And even Fedora Server 38 has it enabled.

if you hop on your egress device and run `tcpdump -n -i $external-device port 5353` do you see a bunch of zeroconf mDNS traffic for devices that aren't on your network and never have been?

i am seeing plenty on that link and none of it are from or about devices actually on my network. my other place is using Comcast's CPE and i don't have interactive shell access to it.

Becoming upstream maintainer of is hard work. There were a lot of prepared fixes without proper review. Hope my time spent on it would be appreciated eventually. is interesting technology.

@Nitrux_NX 2.6.0 is gorgeous! Really impressed with how y’all have managed to wrangle with the NX Desktop layer. Well done!

I can ALMOST use it but for a few issues:
1. It has sleep issues on three different laptops I tried it on
2. It needs to go with it
3. Maybe it’s my naïveté speaking, but in 2023 I feel like should be able to browse and shares from the file manager OOTB on ANY operating system that claims to be for desktop users.
