The Ireland Government has threatened to evict a few Ukrainian refugees if they refuse to pay their own meals. The Ukrainian refugees living at hotels in County Mayo have been directed to start paying for food, laundry and maintenance of their pets. The government directive hasn't gone down well with the refugees, who have now opposed it calling it "discrimination." Watch for more details.

Hi folks. It's so expensive not being able to cook due to disability. There's ready meals but they're relatively expensive per kj and don't deal with dietary restrictions well.

I often live on takeaway, which is also expensive but gives more options, a few places know me and make an effort to accommodate me. Including bringing food inside.

If you can ever spare a little to help me eat regularly, and healthily it would mean a lot

I'm not sure folks realise how expensive it is not to be able to cook due to disability. Yes there's ready meals you can buy but they're both relatively expensive, don't deal with dietary restrictions well, and are very small servings.

I often live on takeaway, which is also expensive but gives me many more options and I have a few places that know me and make a genuine effort to accommodate me. Including actually entering my house so I don't need to struggle to retrieve bulk boxes.

I wish I could get genuine government support for this, but lol, no.

If you ever have a few spare dollars to help me eat regularly, and healthily it would go a long way to improving things on my end.

7 days a week we provide meals to our team and artists.
These are especially important during Ramadan.
Yesterday's food was delicious fried chicken and chip, salad and salsa. In the parcels we also include 3 pieces of fruit, croissant for breakfast, bread, dates, sesame bars and chocolate as well as water and juice.
Just 5 euros a day feeds one hope project family member.
Food is on of our biggest expenses and its hard to raise the money for such an important cost.
