To loud protest from my sons, I pulled the handbrake and made a beeline for this gorgeous #mealycupsage, also known as #mealysage.
It is native to #Mexico and parts of the United States including #Texas and #Oklahoma.
Violet-blue spikes are the main feature of this plant along with the markings on some petals which looks like they’re glossy and shining - and the leaves on this, are green as can be.
So visually appealing.
And the bees love this one too 🐝🐝🐝
