Second beach we visited today, Oodomari Beach. The elderly couple collecting the entrance fee (for parking and beach cleaning) were so cute. After our visit, I asked them what fruit was hanging from the tree about 30 feet up; it was papaya! He told me to help myself and climb up to get one (cheeky monkey!)
Also growing around the parking lot were acerola plants and cane sugar, the latter a crop we saw being farmed throughout Ikea Island.
