Other, less attention-getting results from #Election2022: #Portland voters voted YES for city charter reform. Portland will finally update the structure of its city government. Sadly, Commissioner Joann Hardesty lost to Rene Gonzalez, who was heavily funded by wealthy business interests. #Measure112 succeeded to remove #Slavery from the #Oregon constitution. And #Measure114 succeeded to implement some strong firearms restrictions limiting magazine capacity and requiring permits for purchases.
