So I caved and got me a #mechanical_keyboard. Rather fond of it already but, either the stock #Royal_Kludge brown switches are unbelievably bad, or brown tactiles in general aren't doing it for me. May as well be linears, as far as I can tell. Maybe I should've gone with blues?

Probably gonna change the switches out anyway, but I dunno what to go with. Heavier (>50g) tacs/clicks could be ideal, but I'm not sure what to look for. :/

Any thoughts/suggestions? I'm new. XD

Just wanted to share my split keyboards I 3D printed a year ago.
They both have a pair of OLED displays, connect to each other through a aux cable and they use open source firmware called QMK

Does anyone use a separate mechanical keyboard with their laptop?

I am debating between getting a full-sized keyboard to only use in my office or a small (61-key) keyboard that I could use with my office desktop and laptop - but I don't know if it will be annoying to use my laptop with a separate keyboard.
