This week has been the 54th anniversary of man walking on the moon for the first time. Many #Numismatic coins and #Medallions, #Medals and #PNC issues have been released over the years. Here is a Fleetwood PNC issue from the US marking the 25th anniversary in 1994, featuring a 1979 S "Susan B Anthony" dollar.

Does anyone happen to know, how many of these PNCs were made?

And... why a 29c stamp? Assuming it's to do with 1994 postal rates, but it's an interesting denomination

I am building a collection of #coins, #tokens, #medals, #medallions & other #exonumia with #bible references. King David, King of #Israel, noted for killing Goliath (this is disputed) and unifying all the tribes of #Israel, features on this piece.
The bible lists his lineage down to Jesus. I haven't got as many pieces which quote the Old Testament but this quotes both 2 Samuel & 1 Kings

@Greenseer I started this account over on the bird site, and still visit occasionally, mostly because many of the good people in the coin community there wouldn't leave :( But the one thing I found there with THIS account, was that the coin folk were all great and interested in coins - although there were some *interesting* views aside from that topic.... At least one great thing here is I can follow #numismatics #medallions and other hashtags and only see posts relating to those topics :)

Today's #MondayMedal depicts the 30-meter-high Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, #brazil. Part of a series of #Medallions on the New Seven Wonders of the World. "New", because it was shortlisted and revealed in 2007, although still very historic, including wonders such as the Colosseum in Rome, Matchu Picchu in Peru & the Great Wall of China.
