My final spin of this muggy night.

For me, Meddle is where Floyd fully became Floyd.
It sounds remarkably cohesive for a record that was recorded in various locations whilst fulfilling other engagements, with NO material written.
Gilmour fully solidifies his place here, & with “Echoes” & “Fearless”, the album effectively sets the table for the monstrous, world changing album that came next.
Truly one of their best.
