All the Israeli "private intelligence firms" (Black Cube, NSO Group and many others) are fronts for Mossad. They exist to provide plausible deniability for bad actions.
And they're not limited to meddling in Africa or getting journalists who annoy the Saudis arrested; it is known that they were involved in helping Brexit win, and in the US presidential election in 2016.
