Border patrol disputes the #DHS claim that they have operational control over the US southern border. While it sounds like interagency fighting, it's actually a dispute about terminology. The statutory definition is "no individual and no controlled substances passes through our border." I will nonetheless suggest that folks use a tool like #MediaBiasFactCheck when posting Internet sourced information. Personally, I do not care whether an Internet source is biased left-right-center.

FWIW I believe the quality of a post benefits greatly when it is from a source where #FactualReporting is High or Very High. #Mastodon also benefits, as do our readers when we rely on Factual sources for our information & discussions.

It might seem like the BBC is government controlled. Many of my fellow Labour party members certainly think so.
The right think the BBC is full of lefties and would dearly love to bring it to heel.
