"Fort Liberty" is a generic cop-out! It offends no one and honors no one—on purpose.

"Camp William Carney" would have been a proper recompense for 100+ years of honoring Braxton Bragg, the Civil War Confederate traitor.

US Army (Union) Sgt. Wm. Carney was the first African-American to receive the Medal of Honor in 1900. Thirty-seven years after his brave actions in Charleston in 1863.
