Many people depend on taking the correct #medications to stay out of the #GPs practice or #hospital. #Comorbidity is common with age. How many are skipping #prescriptions because they've been shorted or the #pharmacy has missed something out? Not everyone feels they can question the #pharmacist or has the ability to get to the #chemist again to correct errors. Home deliveries aren't always good when some medications need to be kept in the fridge. I hypothesise that this is affecting #UK health.

I wonder if there's a #UK wide problem with #pharmacies not #dispensing the correct #prescription #medications #prescribed by #GPs? Those with more than one or two #pharmaceuticals to take may be faced with a range of collection dates for repeats, a mix of batch & non-batch prescritpions & #chemists (given the required 7 days notice) who rarely get the packs of #tablets correct. Getting the correct number #pills & everything needed always seems to require extra visits & discussions.

I am very #depressed tonight. Fought #Cigna all day trying to get my #diabetes #medications. They continue to insist that I don’t need them. My blood sugar will be 300+ without it, but they don’t care. My doctor wants me in the med, but that is not important either. Our bank account is $500 overdrawn and the med without a manufacturer coupon is $1000 a month. Why should I even try to fight anymore? No one cares if I live or die why should I?

If anyone has ideas for #ChronicPain #medications (based on lowering the nervous system reaction) that don't interact with other meds, I'm keen to hear recommendations.

9/13 So an attacker can find out exactly what #medications you're taking, what #dose you're taking, and how often you're taking it.

They can see when I last picked up each prescription, and what date it is next available for refill.

They can see exactly which doctor prescribed it.

That is a *lot* of #sensitive #medical information to just give out with essentially no #authentication of the #patient.

Even better, you can order refills, or turn auto-refill on or off.

Up to 90% of drug residues can remain in the #water even after #treatment. 

By the way, don't dispose of unused #medications into the #toilet. Besides, many residues from medications enter the water cycle through our #urine - that's why Abereus-toilets don't mix urine and water.
