Using a dedicated diffusion phantom, this study systematically and objectively assessed whether the use of DRB and DRS impacts the ADC for DWI.
The authors conclude that that it does not influence ADC values. This holds true for different protocol settings.

I'm really enjoying this video from The Royal Society on five of the current mysteries of our Universe. These are the types of questions that got me interested in #Physics.
On top of wanting to know whether people were only made out of atoms, these questions fascinate me and drive me to explore nature around me. It's a strong reason why I studied #Biophysics and #MedPhys - to find out why we are here and to make #StarTrek happen for us, particularly the technology in the medical bay.
I really want to make our lives better. I think a strong understanding of how the universe actually works will help us get there. No superstitions required.

@lichtsignaal An excellent question, exactly why I went to university to study #physics and then #biophysics and medical physics (#MedPhys). I think I know the answer, and yes, there is what one can call the soul in all living things. This is intimately linked to the material nature of life and no longer exists without that material dynamic structure functioning.
