I returned the Heat 2 - Audiobook, because the narrator is sooooo annoying.
Peter Giles is a good voice actor, but he is the wrong guy for Heat.
In my mind it should be read in calm, measured, cool voice, instead he sounds like Rorschach in prison.

I uploaded a short clip to youtube. Do you think Giles voice is a good fit for Heat?

I just bought the audiobook of Heat 2. Michael Manns prequel novel to his masterpiece from 1995 cowritten with Meg Gardiner.

Just finished Heat 2. If you are an obsessed fan of Heat like me, this is an exceptionally fun book. Heists and car chases and surveillance and murder and crime families and taking down huge scores and vengeance. Fantastic.
