This is the #MEGOfactor incarnate. Mel Mencher at @columbiajourn used this acronym to describe the "my eyes glaze over" look an editor would give when a reporter pitched a story that seemed stale or over-covered. Like a space helmet shield. Impermeable.. 1/2
