The aggressively snarky Underground RPG is a strong contender for my favorite standalone superhero game. It's an entry in the exalted subgenre of "basically an adaptation of X without a license for X," where X in this case is the Marshal Law comic from Epic in the late 80s. Historically, Underground was the first RPG book to be 100% glossy full-color on every page, thus bearing apocalyptic blame for consumerist awfulness since, but I'm still happy to play it. 😅
