@seanpatrickphd Actually yes. I am told that my mother's grandmother grandmother was a #Galician witch doctor (the famed Rosa de Miron). In my family we believe in #meigas, partly because we are meigas. But, technically no. It is probably all made up of empathy together with primordial biases (that gut feeling) and human experience (those intuitions). But yes, I would say that totally: there is old magic --not like Clarke's magic, but based on old traditions and culture.
