I sometimes see people’s brains churning wistfully and it makes me a little sad. Like, we all have stuff, every damn one of us, some more than others, and different for everyone, but it doesn’t make it less sigh-inducing or, fuck, at times it just wracks the whole body.
Modern society has plenty of amazing advances and also lots of hurt and loss because of it.
Capitalism is absolutely at the heart of much suffering, yet we’re conditioned to believe in it and some ultimately unattainable “dream”, which prevents many from seeing the reality of class warfare and what that entails.
