It is such a nice day out I tossed a load of washing in the machine and went for my bike ride. By the time I got back it was all ready to hang out. It's a bright blue sky and sunny day in Melbourne with winds expected to pick up later. Good weather for drying washing!

Brrrrr another frosty morning but sunny in Melbourne. One hot air balloon spotted. Far less doggies out being walked today, I think the cold kept some indoors. Hopefully my seedlings all survive the frost. Going to be a bright blue sky kind of day.

It's been a soggy night in Melbourne, over 10mm received since midnight. Looked bad on the radar this morning so it was back on the exercise bike and Youtube. I have been watching this lady's amazing ultracycling videos of long distance cycling through Europe.

After a restless night with super weird dreams, it was Thursday morning again. My weather station said it was 22 kph gusts but it looked quite calm so off I rode. Spectacular morning with vivid oranges and pinks through the clouds initially. It's meant to rain later though.

Well it was a delightful 2.5 when I got up and had dropped to 2.1 by the time I was ready for my bike ride. Naturally passed the ones who wear shorts all year round, but not many out today. Going to be a lovely clear blue skies day, which will help defrost the ice on the grass. Brrrr that was a brisk one. Still prefer riding in the cold compared to hot weather though.

Hello to a windy morning in Melbourne! It's gusty already and going to get much stronger today so my ride was on the exercise bike today. Which gives me another excuse to watch cycling tours on Youtube and pretend to be somewhere else. Cheap holidaying?
