The image depicted on a gold ring found in a tomb near Knossos, was one of the first images to draw me into the mythology around bees and the Melissa.
I do not want to put any words to this picture as words begin to limit it and it's spiral in time relationship to me.
This image has the effect of bringing me both forward and backwards in time. Words weaken that effect.
