I recently discovered the band Sarcasm (SWE) which was an old school Swedish melodic death metal band from the early 90s that has made a comeback of sorts, and is now cranking out new material. If you like old school death metal with more than a hint of melodicism, this might be your jam. Sounds a bit like very early In Flames or Edge of Sanity.
