Large rock slide probably caused by melting permafrost in alps

Ice is not only melting in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. What used to be hard rocks is now crumbly and soft.

The mountain in question is now 100 meters smaller and still unstable. Experts say that generally anything above 2,500 or 2,600 meters is in danger of similar events.

I have unfortunately not felt safe to return because they do not require visitors to wear masks. I wish businesses would make their premises safer for people with chronic illness.
