I’ve done a #makenine for 2023. I actually want to make at least 20 and will probably only manage 5 or 6 in the end… but here’s my intention for this year. Working towards a mostly me-made wardrobe.

And completed this this weekend too. Sinclair Patterns Calypso shirt with a few modifications. THIS is the sort of everyday wardrobe stuff I wanted to make — basics in my neutrals (black, grey) with interesting details. I flipped the panels to leave the serged seams on the outside and then stitched them down, and removed the cuffs and hem band and left the sleeves extra long. It’s not quite perfect but I like it a lot. #isewmyownclothes #memadewardrobe
