And if I ever saw a movie under perfect conditions, then it was this one. - I was visiting a friend in a city where I'd never been, was wandering around town by myself one afternoon and found a little cinema. I set out to find all the holes in the story, read the script, reordered all the pieces, but found nothing. Immensely impressive how he managed to construct a gripping story out of seemingly disconnected pieces. A few books and movies tell their story back to front, but in most cases it's a stylistic choice. Not so in Memento - here the story demands it. #film #analysis #memento
