It's not perfect by any means, but I discovered an #iOS app for #Lemmy that works on #AppleSilicon Macs. I'm trying #Lemmios, which does have some issues with scrolling and such, but the "compact" view is working quite well for me.
I wish the #Memmy for Lemmy team would patch up the last details needed for #macOS compatibility, but I also need to remember that this is a rather young service. I’m old enough to remember #NNTP and #Gopher. This is leaps and bounds better.

@crumbleneedy Personally, I'm a big fan of #Memmy and #Voyager.
There's a lot of options also currently in TestFlight like #Bean that look really promising.
I’ve posted this defect to #Memmy twice if not thrice, and now I see #Artemis doing it too. How hard is it to just use line-height: auto; or at least make it user configurable. Completely triggers me.
Great that the apps are free but good god, bring on the competitors. I’m glad as hell that Reddit and Apollo still work. You heard me - Apollo still works, long as your phone is jailbroken. #monaapp is still the gold standard with fedi-apps, hoping other apps will get just as polished one day.
Hab jetzt auch mal #Memmy getestet und finde die App noch schöner und ausgereifer für #Lemmy.

@TilliAtHome Ja die teste ich auch gerade in TestFlight sieht echt gut aus ebenso #Memmy
#Memmy is the best #Lemmy app on #iOS and it’s completely free. It’s heavily inspired by Apollo while also introducing its own identity in the UX. Available on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/memmy-for-lemmy/id6450204299

Yet another #Memmy release where they haven’t fixed the line height for titles despite me asking multiple times about it. Pity there aren’t any workable alternatives.
I wonder how many requests to the #Memmy developer for fixing the line height for post titles it will take before the line height for post titles is actually fixed.
@kr0n @heyazorin Para iOS estoy entre #Memmy y #Voyager pero he probado dos nuevas que les dejo por aquí:
Lemmios (se parece a Memmy): https://testflight.apple.com/join/BF7pq1hn
Anytime I try to log onto any Lemmy instance on my iPhone (app and browser) it gives me “incorrect login”, even though I am using my password manager to fill it in.
It works every time on my Mac.
I saved a link to Lemmy as a bookmark on my iPhone screen and it saves me a couple of taps over opening it in safari.
However, when it opens, for some reason the address bar at the bottom is disabled. Is the intent to disguise it as an app? The problem is that it hides the ‘share’ option, bookmarks, back button etc.
I have an app, #memmy, but that is in a state of flux and doesn’t seem to have a share option yet.
I’ve implemented an iOS share option and I am aware how much googling it takes since apple don’t seem to believe in example code. And then repeat for macOS, where the share api is similar but different. I think apples notorious internal secrecy includes the iOS and macOS teams.
does anybody know how to join communities on other instances on #memmy ? for some reason I can't seem to figure it out 😕 I have tried searching for the community ID but it just says can't find anything
