215 followers · 306 posts · Server piipitin.fiPeople reminded me about the tricks and hoops we had to jump through during the #DOS age to get all the games work as some required lots of conventional memory, some wanted #ExpandedMemory and others #eXtendedMemory. IIRC I managed to get 614KB conventional memory with regular extended memory managers and 621KB without them. With #QEMM that could be boosted over 630KB and still have extended memory available. #computing #computers #RAM #MemoryManagement
