Am working my way through the second draft of the book I'm writing, and I get to this conversation between two characters:

Character 1: So, did you do the hack?
Character 2: Nope.

Me: --? What? I thought it was character 2 who was the hacker. Now I have no idea who was supposed to be the hacker.

I do a quick search for "hack" in my notes and the rest of the text and nothing helpful comes up. I must have thought it would be obvious.
I can't remember who did the hack! I hope the rest of the draft reveals it, otherwise I've got a problem!

What is your favorite #book that you read this year?

Admittedly I have #memoryproblems but from the #books I have records for in 2022 I'd say From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler gave me the happiest feeling.

Second place went to The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy which had some quotable quotes (again, based on what I can rediscover 😁 😅 )
