I really don’t have what it takes to properly work the clothes my targeted ads are trying to sell me lately. I’m a boring gay not a fabulous one. Maybe I should look at these as aspirational rather than mis-targeted. 😉

Saw an ad for cute jock straps. Fun colorful, designed not for function but rather to be seen in and have others go “oh that’s cute” before doing whatever it is you all are doing.
I went to the site, saw there was a video and watched fully clothed “bros” doing extreme sports tricks: bike, skateboard, etc and no product shots. Very young Het Dude attitude.
Watching it I wondered if they realized that they were selling cute gay underwear.

Per my targeted ads I should be dressed in Birkenstocks, boxer briefs that go almost to my knees in a “fun” pattern, short fetish leather shorts, “gay” knitted tank top, and a flowy caftan.

I’m not too sure that would be an effective “look” or at least not all at the same time. Lol

Considering I dress for comfort rather than fashion I seem to posting a lot on fashion. That said, am I tempted by these shorts because they sort of remind me my youth in the 80’s, or am I mistaking my appreciation of the model’s legs for desire for the product?

FB still wants me to cut my hair. That said, it’s now showing me videos where the barber is using clippers n razors to raise young men’s hairlines.

Is this the fashionable? Trendy? A wanna be trend? Intentional balding / receded hairlines? It’s not like some of these young dudes will have that naturally in a decade or two, but this seems odd to me.

Had a momentary half thought about maybe getting one of those admittedly silly two piece shirt/shorts combo things for a vacation later in the year. Seems there are two options to choose from: “look at me loud prints” and “boring pajamas.”

No middle ground in fashion I guess. Lol
