I recently happened to fall into a drunken Guy Clark jam at a bluegrass festival and realized that Guy Clark is how progressive, middle-aged, cishet, white, men express their emotions. Seriously, five dudes took turns calling at least 15 Guy Clark songs at a bluegrass festival. There were tears.

I mean, I like Guy Clark (maybe not as much as the next guy), but dudes should really hug each other more. The patriarchy is freaky on so many levels.
