@husjon I’ve started doing a “What have I gotten done today” mental checklist when I get into bed each night.
Some days it’s a lot.
Some days it’s only one thing.
Some days it’s only one part of one thing.
Some days it’s nothing at all.
And ALL of that is OKAY. Being upset with yourself because you didn’t finish a task doesn’t fix anything.
Modify the task.
Break it into steps.
One step at a time.
Progress is progress. Reward yourself for it.

You know how sometimes everything just comes together to be terrible?
Been feeling a bit sick today, so I didn’t dare eat anything for fear of making it worse. Now in the evening I *think* I’m feeling hungry.
So either eat something and risk making the feeling sick worse, or I don’t eat anything and feel hungry - which I honestly cannot differentiate between anymore.
Of course all this stresses me out even more, feels like all day I’m close to an anxiety attack…

Awakened by the soft hue of light on the snow she stretched out of her sleeping bag. Unzipping the icy door she braced for the cold air to enter her throat as she breathed. Nothing came, she poked her head out of the tent, which was now flapping in a light breeze. Before her was an astounding sight. Gone were the ice laden tufts of grass, the once frozen lake glittered bright blue awash with ripples from creatures below. Bright green, strong leaves danced in the trees. The sun, hot on the horizon, was glowing and burning as bright as ever. What was once so cold, had needed just one night to thaw. She smiled and launched herself into the warm, dry grass before her, feeling it tickle her arms.
‘’Finally’’ she said aloud.

One thing that really helps me focus and be productive while having #ADHD is body doubling which is essentially working along side someone else at the same time. You don’t even have to be doing the same thing or even in the same room or even speaking to one another. You can Zoom with a friend for a period of time or use Flow Club which I use myself and highly recommend.
Oh! And be kind to yourself!
