Had a great first meeting w/ my @SFWA mentor, @omgjulia this morning. We spent almost 2 hours chatting about our writing journeys, our publishing experiences, talking about the nourishment that writing communities give us, the struggles of balancing work & family & self (physical & mental).

I have a homework assignment that involves daily tracking of various things & I am simply jazzed for what's ahead.

I am grateful for all the opportunities and the spot I’m in. There are others not so lucky.

I’ve been debating what path id like to take … architect is the most obvious. Dev manager is always a fallback. I’ve seen a lot of really great developer advocates … that one kind of speaks to my evangelizing id love to do …
