Work on the Corrugated Shawl finally picked up some steam after derailing last week when I discovered, much to my dismay, that I had missed not one but TWO major repeats in the pattern.

I ripped the whole thing out and started fresh, moving more slowly and remembering to use markers to help me keep count.

And yes, @CathBear, the redo has been excellently satisfying.

This week in #fiberuary it’s intentional holes week. Here’s a sweater I knit over 30 years ago made from yarn that I picked up at the medina in Tangier, Morocco when I was visiting my parents in my 20’s.

Most people think of open holed knitting as lace, but in bulky yarn, a four rows of garter stitch (two ridges), followed by a k2 tog yo row, then more garter, makes for a strong and textured band of color.

This sleeve is looking decidedly much better. I misinterpretted the pattern the first time and was working increases wrong, but got some clarification this time. I opted to do a ribbing for the cuff instead of the double moss stitch called for in the pattern. 4.0 mm crochet hook for scale.

Oh for crying out loud. I made a simple reading error in the directions for the Corrugation Shawl and now I have to frog it back SEVERAL rows. My eyes skipped down to the "work until you have 10 sections of rss" and failed to see the increases in the pattern midway through.

Lifeline you ask? Well, it's a simple stockinette and reversed stockinette so why bother with a lifeline (I said to myself several, several rows ago). 🤦‍♂️
