Picked up DIVE, which is an ocean-based take on MOTHERSHIP inspired by films like Deepstar Six, Levithan, Deep Blue Sea, and The Abyss.
I plan on using it to help develop my underwater Mothership adventure for the next #MEPACon

Watching #AvatarTheWayOfWater, creating characters for my "Beyond the Funnel" adventure for #MEPACon.
So far I've got the mutant Tick-Tock, who has an armored carapace, two additional limbs, and the ability to anticipate and manipulate time.
Working on my #MutantCrawlClassics adventure for #MepaCon. Accumulating a collection of MCC links as I go along; those will turn into a resource post over on @lairofsecrets
#MEPACon is a northeast Pennsylvania gaming convention offered twice a year (Spring and Fall). Learn more at https://mepacon.com/
Alright, events submitted - now I just need to wait for them to get approved.

@dmr Makes sense. It feels like there's the potential for a nice little #Gaslands community at #MEPACon, so I can see having a primer page over at Lair of Secrets and pointing people to it before each game. Particularly when we start getting to more intermediate skilled games where we pull in more of the optional rules. Having a refresher before the game could be helpful for everyone :)
For a convention game, has anyone tried giving players a primer *before* they arrive for the game? MEPACon (a regional convention) has a registration system that people use to sign-up for events. That same system can be used to communicate with players ahead of time.
I (Ken) ran #Gaslands at #MEPACon in the fall. It was an intro game, and everyone was learning.

So how did it work? Pretty well actually. The base compartment (the part that opens up from the front) had enough space for my game supply tray plus the DCC and Gaslands rulebooks, plus two mini trays with tokens and templates for Gaslands.
Its a fairly big box, so it was a little unwieldy to carry around the convention. That's fine for #MEPACon, which is a small con with an equally small footprint. I don't think it would work for GMing at #GenCon or #Origins (which are far bigger)
More than a year after I (Ken) put it together, I finally got to try out my Game Master Toolbox (aka the Box of Holding) at a convention.
The Toolbox is a Plano tackle box repurposed to hold gaming supplies - for #MEPACon earlier this month, I used it to carry #Gaslands supplies, my #DungeonCrawlClassics rule book, and a tray with my dice/markers/tokens.
We've got a post about the Toolbox on the Lair: https://lairofsecrets.com/blog/game-master-box-of-holding/

Final game of #MepaCon !! Playing #Transformers RPG for the first time… #Essence20 seems very involved but I’m loving the minis, hot wheels, and smart use of wrapping paper for maps

I’m headed to #mepacon this weekend! I’ll be playing some #castlesandcrusades and #DungeonCrawlClassic #DCC. I’m also playing a session of the new #Transfomers #ttrpg
Anybody else gonna be there?

I'm at the #mepacon gaming convention in PA this weekend. I picked these up in the dealer's room.
All three novels for Cyborg Commando, the disastrous RPG released in 1987.
Written by Kim Mohan and Frank Mentzer based on notes by Gary Gygax, the game was terribly written, and the company (New Infinities Productions) soon went out of business.
I'll soon see if the novels are any good.
