This is an #improvisation on the #Alghoza; a double #flute played in #India 🇮🇳 and #Pakistan 🇵🇰. There are claims that it's 9500 years old, based on similar twin flutes being depicted in #Egyptian and #Mesopotamian paintings. However, the Egyptian depictions date to 2686–2040BC, and the Silver double flute from Ur to 2450BC. Despite this spurious claim, the Alghoza is a wonderful #instrument and this player is exceptional. And yes, circular breathing!
