@dmnelson thanks so much, man. iMazing worked. Had a bit of trouble setting it up at first as it takes a long time to first back up from an iPhone/iPad before it's able to extract the Messages but I got it to work running it against my iPad while I was out and I'm able to view a full thread now from 2015-2023. The export automatically prepares TXT, CSV, XLSX, and PDF. Pretty impressive. Thanks again.

My mom passed away and I want so save our full iPhone Messages thread and it's so hard. I was able to save a PDF on my Mac, but it's not complete. Anyone know of any tricks? On my phone I can go as far back as 2015 but on my Mac it's more limited.
