#MessyChurch is back for a new year and we kick off our session by exploring God’s love for us and how we can share God’s love with the world. Join us at St Mary’s Church #Beaminster from 4pm to 5.30pm on Saturday 11th February.

@sadgrove My @ChurchTimes has not arrived yet but this letter is spot on. One of the effects of the current enthusiasm for #MessyChurch etc has been a retreat into a relatively few urban churches (which may be necessary) accompanied by an abandonment of the rural churches (which may also be necessary, but needs to be handled more sensitively, following negotiation). What has not been achieved is creating Christian communities which are distinctive (and distinct from secular communities.)
