Here's a new #dragonfly #pendant design - based on the wing layout of a darner dragonfly. I designed the pendant bezel in #blender, #3dprinted it, and then made a mold and used that to shape #bronze #metalclay, which I then fired in our kiln to turn it into a solid bronze piece. Then I added an image I created by blending several photos I had taken with an image created from Hubble #space #telescope observations of the Carina #nebula. #science #jewellery #handmade

Sometimes I love living in the future. I tried making a fairly thin #metalclay ring, but I had trouble getting it to keep its shape while it dried. About 30 minutes in openscad and about an hour on the #3Dprinter , and I had a stand designed to hold it while drying. and it works great. #workinprogress #design #jewelry #artistsonmastodon
