Robotack is a really interesting show in that it starts out with all these goofy robots playing games with one another (which is what Kabutack was for its whole run) and mutates into what feels like a sillier version of a Heisei Rider battle royale series.

Have any toku fans out there actually watched Kabutack and Robotack? I've seen the former and am watching the latter now and they are both a lot of fun. The designs for Robotack are especially awesome but definitely very kiddy.

The 12th Metal Hero!

This is a police robot with a particularity: he fights THREE criminal groups. And is rare he fights a monster-of-the-week. Also, he fights mostly alone.

Which is why i think is worth watching (the rare MotW and the various criminal groups i mean). Isn't very common, you know.

Also, has... i would say trauma, if a robot can have that, caused by his past as a combat prototype.

Is a good show, but from ep 43 until the end gets REALLY weird with all that demon stuff. And i mean in a scary, sinister way. But you know, for kids!

Naoto Tamura, a detective in Central City, is killed by a Bionoid Monster in the line of duty. But he's brought back as the cyborg detective, Jiban.

So, basically, we have a mix of Robocop and Robot Keiji. Which is an awesome mix, in my opinion. And, of course, the Bionoids! So, classic stuff, in a very enjoyable form.

I discovered The Metal Heroes franchise when i started searching info about VR troopers. imagine my reaction when i learned saban did as in Power Rangers, but using with three different shows at the same time!

Shows without more links between them that being part of the same frnachise, btw. But then, something worse happened.
