Been experimenting with metallic effects for the background of the collage. Someone in art group kindly let me try some Schminke aqua bronze metallic powders, which I hadn’t come across before. If you add a little water they behave like metal ink. The results are pretty! #gouache #metallic #schminke

Been playing with different backgrounds in the lightbox, and it makes a big difference in how the vase looks in some cases with raku.
I'll have to check out how it impacts regularly glazed pieces! I suspect not nearly as much. Raku typically has more depth of effects, particularly with textured pieces of those with flashing.

So the last several months I have felt slightly weak and wilted and had trouble concentrating. I have simultaneously had a #metallic taste in my mouth. Turns out this could be mild lithium toxicity. I will be asking to just remove it from my treatment at my appt tomorrow. Done with this feeling. #meds
