#MetaSound #UE5 is a really cool interface to compose sounds and music; despite the fact that it was not that clear how to loop the logic, once I figured out it was fairly easy to create this muffled audio.

In order to loop a procedural synth in MetaSound you have to create an event variable; then, using the "delayed get variable" you can create the high performance looping DSP graph. I usually prefer to differentiate footsteps by using pitch shifting rather than providing many different samples: as I find the final result more consistent.
