I recently had a #blood test and a #CT scan to check for the presence of #cancer cells in my blood and #metastases or #tumours in my liver or small and large intestines.
I have now had the results: there is no evidence of cancer.

Few days ago I had come across this article - https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-022-34910-5 - where authors identify a mechanism for the vascular leak that happens because of COVID. The authors demonstrated that is a phenomenon that happens at other tissue levels also. In this context I wonder if patients with active cancer and #COVID infection will have an increased risk of #Metastases especially to the #Brain because of this vascular leak.
Really curious is someone is looking at this association.
