Is there an iOS Mastodon app that lets me follow hashtags?
Currently trying #MetatextApp but I cannot find the option, and hashtag following is my way to get a pretty feed.

What are #ios peeps for using #mastodon lately? I’ve been using #MetatextApp but I get frustrated with treads and replies.

I’ve been using feditext, the successor of metatext and my experience has been fantastic!

Anyone know where to find the ‘detect text from picture’ feature on #IceCubesApp? Really missing this one - so easy on #MetatextApp (which sadly crashed one time too many). ⚠️

I’m using #MetatextApp but I can’t see the hashtags I follow. I cannot see them on the web either 🥲

Just a heads up fellow Mastodonians I have noticed that the actual #Mastodon app keeps showing I am offline but the #Metatext app and #Tooot app are working just fine.

Love the app, but the share extension for Safari on Mac is busted. Works OK on iOS, but gives me a blank toot in Safari.

Yeah, everyone is going bananas because of Ivory. And that is really good.

But I must say that Ice Cubes is better and should get a shout out as an awesome client for Mastodon.

Also, people should try Metatext; the best in my opinion.

One thing they both have is the ability to add local timelines that you can quickly dip into. No need to make an account on those instances, just add it.

I hope this becomes the norm in all clients going forwards. It would certainly take some of the anxiety away from choosing your initial instance when signing up.

Ok, so I’m really liking @ivory so far, but dammit #icecubesapp has some really neat features (quote “retweet”) and I *REALLY* miss the image description feature in #metatextapp and @tusker has really nice interface with some good options!

@quiltgran yes in App Store. I too downloaded the official masto app and def found it lacking. Check the experience of others in your feed. Downloaded 3 #MetatextApp won for me.

Just noticed there is a bookmark function , #MetatextApp / thank goodness .

Ich frage mich warum #MetatextApp die Bilder immer falsch rotiert.

No matter what I do I don’t seem to get #metatext to notify me. all the notifications are turned on both in the app, and on my phone, and I actually just turned on persistent banners, which is not even a thing I do, I usually stick with silent badges. Because I don’t think I’m getting any notifications at all. 🤔
