Miałem w końcu okazję przesłuchać tej jubileuszowej "Meteory". Oczywiście nie dla samych oryginalnych utworów czy koncertówek, ale demówek, które albo były ciężko dostępne do odsłuchania albo dopiero teraz ujrzały po raz pierwszy światło dzienne.

I słodki jeżu, ale tam jest dobrego materiału 😍 O ile te singlowe "Lost" czy "Fighting Myself" mnie jakoś nie porwały, o tyle te wszystkie utwory instrumentalne są naprawdę świetne. Ba, cześć z nich nie brzmi nawet jak Linkin Park z tamtego okresu. I nie jest to w żadnym wypadku traktowane przeze mnie jako minus, a ogromny plus. Bo pokuszę się o stwierdzenie, że niektóre utwory instrumentalne są lepsze niż to co znalazło się ostatecznie na płycie. Fakt, może gdyby doszły tam jakieś partie wokalne to całość by miała inny wydźwięk i nie słuchało się tego tak dobrze, ale w takiej formie brzmi to wszystko naprawdę super.

Szkoda tylko, że za całe to wydanie w wersji cyfrowej Warner chce ponad 100 dolarów. W szczególności, że nie jest ono wydane w całości w porządnym HiResie (czyli min. 96kHz/24bit). A w sumie nie obraził bym się , gdyby można było kupić osobno samych demówek...

Not that it's a bad thing. I love listening to these unreleased songs.

Firstly the song brings me back to early 00’s. Really enjoying the melody with futuristic vibes. Considering how old this song is kind of shows of ahead of their time LP was.

Secondly the lyrics to this song especially in hindsight really cuts deep.

Oh man this is gonna lead me down the LP rabbit hole again.
